One of the greatest discoveries in the past twenty-five years was the recognition that water behaves in unique new ways when it is next to an interface. This new state is called the Fourth Phase of water because it no longer acts like water in its solid, liquid or gaseous state. Water in this Fourth Phase is a gelatinous continuum which responds as a dynamic, quantum whole where a single part cannot be separated from the whole.
Quantum wholeness can be found everywhere in the world around us. It can be witnessed in the captivating dance of starling murmurations where we no longer focus on the actions of a single bird, but become mesmerized by the collective behaviour of the whole. Water is the epitome of this quantum wholeness, dancing with life as seamlessly as a murmuration. Can you imagine the water in our body as a unified entity? What becomes possible when we envision our bodies in the context of the dynamic liquid continuum that is the Fourth Phase of water? This is the Quantum Body.
Join me as I explore current scientific theories on water, including the fascinating emerging dynamics of Fourth Phase Water. I apply these theories to the human body and explore what it means to be a Quantum Body. This new vision of the Quantum Body has far reaching implications to our concepts of health and healthcare.
Embodying our anatomy simply means trying ourselves on for size and being present in all the movements and functions of our daily lives. This fun and interactive one-day workshop has been described as “The User’s Guide to Your Body”! We will review the anatomy, normal function and common ailments of the organs in the digestive, cardiovascular and urogenital systems.
The morning will be spent exploring each organ in detail. The organ will be drawn on a human canvas to help integrate location, size and orientation with neighboring structures. Normal and abnormal function of each organ will be examined including simple activities to support your overall health with interesting tidbits to amaze your friends!
The afternoon will be spent participating in a series of body awareness exercises aimed at integrating the anatomy with the normal mobility of each organ.
At the end of this workshop each participant should have a greater awareness of the physiological processes of the human body and a tool-set to maintain global health and function.
Hormones are so much more than those pesky things that drive us crazy during puberty and
menopause! They are the drivers of our dynamic and finely coordinated internal world.
Hormones help us fall asleep at night and wake us up in the morning. Hormones determine our
energy levels, internal temperature and metabolism. Unlike other more sequential processes in the body, hormones follow a well-orchestrated square dance where each hormone pair do-si-
does before heading off to dance with the next partner.
The goal of this one-day workshop is a greater appreciation of the overall interplay of
hormones, and not just an exploration of the symptoms of menopause. The workshop will
follow the accompanying handbook: The Hormone Dialogue: A Patient’s Guide to Hormones &
Hormone Deficiencies. This comprehensive Guide reviews the most common hormones and
offers dietary and lifestyle changes to address specific hormonal deficiencies. The second half of
the book explores the Female Sex Hormone Cycle in detail from puberty through pregnancy and
into menopause before investigating the Male Sex Hormones.
At the end of this workshop each participant should be armed with a greater understanding, a
boat load of resources, and hopefully some direction to explore hormonal concerns for
themselves and their loved ones.
Please note - the Hormone Guide is also available in pdf format for anyone who has not yet
attended the workshop but would like to get started on their own hormone research.
I very much enjoyed the hormone workshop; at first, I was somewhat overwhelmed, maybe even intimidated with the technicalities and detail. But within a short time, and with your fun and entertaining teaching style I was in the groove, soaking up the info. What struck me were the intricacies (your cascading vision) of our hormones; I knew in a vague way that they are important and involved in many functions, but this workshop sent a powerful message that they are so vital to our everyday life, well-being, health. I also enjoyed re-learning a lot of the basics from high school; pituitary, pheromones, anatomy.
I appreciate how you stressed the importance of being aware of supplemental overload, and co-indicators, even food effects; and felt that you physically hefting that great big fat black tome a couple of times hit home the need to research and consult knowledgeable professionals.Your passion for your subject is inspiring, your delight in even the minute amazing details is contagious, and an integral portion of your successful workshop, along with the anecdotes, facts, and aside-stories. I also like that I did not leave the class feeling like we are all doomed; but instead encouraged that so much is in our power; breathing, meditation, eating well, hydration, sleeping
(and all that precipitates a proper sleep).
Thank you Teara for the great information provided. When thinking of hormones, I of course think of menopause and what it has done to change my lifestyle. After your workshop, I realize there are many contributing factors that play into our wellbeing. I too do not believe in hormone replacement and over these last nine years I have wondered if that was such a good idea. I have let Mother Nature take over and dealt with it the best way I knew how. If only this workshop were available five years ago, I would have been able to deal with the hormonal change differently. There were times over these last few years that I truly understood why some women go off the deep end when going through menopause. I discovered a different side of myself that I didn’t like. Let’s hope this will soon all be behind me. Thank you once again. Your book will be read again and again to try and absorb so much information. (The mind is the first thing that turns to mush when your period stops !!!)
However, I have begun going through the book and will make more sense of it in time. The book is well laid out and easy to follow.
Thanks again for the incredibly informative workshop. So many things were “light-bulb” moments for me and looking forward to working with you.
