What is Human Design?

Human Design is a personality assessment tool. To me, most personality assessments firmly designate
you to a tight little box that restrains you from engaging in your personal exploration and growth.
Human Design, however, is different. It is a multidimensional, dynamic, yet practical and reliable
decision making tool derived from the esoteric sciences of the Hindu Chakra System, the Judaic
Kabbalah, Chinese I Ching, Eastern and Western Astrology and Quantum Physics. Your unique Human
Design chart is determined by the astrological placement of the planets at the moment of your birth
(your Soul Purpose) and the alignment of the planets three months prior to your actual birth date (your
Life Purpose).
For me, Human Design is a registry of all the beautiful and distinct gifts you came here to share with
humanity. It is also an account of the challenges you get to face in order to realize and embody those
gifts. It is the tapestry of you and your amazing contribution to the world.

I am a Time Bender or, in the old language, a Manifesting Generator. As a karmic mirror for humanity, I
am here to serve the world by transforming Divine Inspiration into form by energetically amplifying the
quantum process of linear time.

I learn, share and grow in my ability to give to the world through being a visionary leader that can see
beyond the present karmic limitations of humanity into the unlimited capacity of Life. To fulfill this role, I
need to take the time required to re-source and integrate my own inner truth, knowledge, energy and
wisdom then wait for the readiness of others.

I declare my Life Purpose is to be a conduit for Divine Inspiration that is energetically aligned with the
highest potential for humanity. I trust explicitly in Divine Timing. When others are ready, I have the
experience and wisdom to facilitate their connection to, and right place within, the Divine Cosmic Plan.

Charles Eisenstein wrote in his wonderful book, The More Beautiful World Our Hearts Know Is Possible (2013)

The first step in creating change, then, is to receive a vision that feels true. The second
step is to heal the wounds and doubts that that vision illuminates. Without doing that,
we will be conflicted, simultaneously enacting both the new story and the old one that
accompanies the wounds. The third step is to bow into service to that which wants to be
born. This process is not linear. Usually, the vision comes more and more into focus as
we heal the doubts that obscure it; that, in turn, allows us to enter more deeply into its
service. Deeper service, in turn, brings up new dimensions of the vision along with
deeper wounds. The path of service is a path of self-realization.

When we are in service to something that is real, when we speak of it our words have
power. Others can feel its reality too. That is why some people have the seemingly
magical ability to speak things into existence. When they say such-and-such is going to
happen, everyone believes it is going to happen, even if its happening depends on
everyone believing it will happen.

To be fully in service to something one has experienced as real is the essence of
leadership in a nonhierarchical age. A leader is the holder of a story, someone whose
experience of its reality is deep enough so that she can hold the belief on behalf of
others.
