This workshop is for everyone curious about the inner workings of our incredible body!
Embodying your anatomy simply means trying yourself on for size and being present in all the movements and functions of your daily life. This fun and interactive workshop, often described as the “User’s Guide to Your Body”, will review the cardiovascular, digestive and urogenital systems over three information-filled evenings.
Each evening will be spent exploring the organs of a particular body system in detail including the anatomy, normal function and common ailments. The organs will be compared to a human canvas to help integrate location, size and orientation with neighboring structures. Simple activities and body awareness exercises will be offered to integrate the anatomy with normal organ mobility.
At the end of this workshop participants will have a greater awareness of the physiological processes in the human body, a tool set to maintain global health and function, and even some interesting tidbits to amaze your friends!
