Join us for a palpatory exploration into the polyrhythmic nature of the body.

Fluid fluctuations within the human body are fractal representations of the dynamic nature of the ocean. The Cranial Rhythmic Impulse is analogous to the small lapping waves at the shoreline, whereas the oscillation of Primary Respiration can be witnessed as the larger, rolling waves. Finally, the formidable tidal forces of the ocean are found in the organizational nature of the Long Tide. This coherent, liquid continuum of living water is the Quantum Body.

This is not a Biodynamic course. For me, Biodynamics is a therapeutic approach that interfaces with the organizational forces of the Long Tide as it directs the expression of health. Although we will be touching on the Long Tide, the focus of this workshop is the experience of palpation.

Palpation is not something you do with your brain. Even beyond Sutherland’s “thinking-feeling-seeing” fingers there is an act of witnessing. Witnessing the rhythmic respiration of the ocean is like experiencing and validating the expressions of a living system.

In this workshop we will spend three days witnessing the dynamic expression of the liquid crystalline continuum within the Quantum Body through interfacing and experiencing these polyrhythmic fluctuations.
